History of Toilet Paper - How Americans convinced the world to wipe

This is an interesting story published in Mental Floss Magazine. Americans spent 6 billion dollar a year on Toilet Tissue. The most interesting part is that, the Scott brothers who invented and popularized the toilet paper on  a roll were so ashamed of the nature of their innovative work that they did not take proper credit of their innovation until 1902.
